Two common questions we are asked:
The answers to both can be found in the philosophy of our organization. Marin Fertility Center’s IVF program has been built around the unique vision of two dedicated reproductive medicine practitioners providing boutique-style clinical care and offering a world-class laboratory with the very latest in technology.
While global consolidation and conglomeration of IVF clinics permeate through our field, we remain steadfast with our belief that you cannot “scale” quality reproductive health care. To that end we have made a commitment to stay focused on the individualized patient care, tailoring the right treatment to the patient (and not the other way around). It is with this uncommon attention to detail that we’ve been able to achieve our high levels of success.
IVF programs are often judged based upon the success of their labs; labs are judged upon how good they are with their best prognosis patients. Because fertility potential is so strongly linked to age, “best prognosis” means the youngest patients. By convention, our field groups everyone less than 35 years old into this “best prognosis” category.
In 2021 (the most recent year of national outcome reporting), the chance of a new patient < 35 years old with no prior IVF cycles having a live birth after one intended egg retrieval at Marin Fertility Center was 77% (14/18).
