Dr. Agard is double board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. After completing her undergraduate education at San Francisco State University, she attended medical school at UCLA. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was with Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was at the prestigious Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical Center. Her special interests are diminished ovarian reserve, in vitro fertilization, and pre-implantation genetic screening. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She has been the recipient of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Scholarship, ASRM Wyeth Scholarship, and Beckman Scholarship. Her research background includes developmental genetics and subclinical hypothyroidism.
Dr. Agard is committed to education and currently serves as the Director of Grand Rounds at Marin General Hospital. She also lectures health care providers, seeking to improve awareness for fertility. In recognition of her efforts, she was nominated for the Heart of Marin Award.
