Dr. Agard is originally from El Dorado County in Northern California. After completing her undergraduate education at San Francisco State University, she attended medical school at UCLA. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was with Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was at the prestigious Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical Center. Her special interests are in polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid disease, therapeutic reproductive surgery, and diminished ovarian reserve. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She has been the recipient of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Scholarship, ASRM Wyeth Scholarship, and Beckman Scholarship. Her research background includes developmental genetics and subclinical hypothyroidism.
Dr. Agard is committed to education and is the Director of Grand Rounds at Marin General Hospital. She also lectures UCSF residents, medical students, nurses, and physician assistants. In her dedication for caring for the community, she volunteers at the Marin Community Clinic. She recently was nominated for the 2015 Heart of Marin Award.
